Community Dining Room

Plowshares Community Dining Room serves a free hot meal every day of the week, and it is open to all. Local food producers and retailers donate most of the food used in these meals. Our volunteer cooks and servers are led by trained staff who strive to prepare nutritious food rich in whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and organic and GMO-free when possible. Our Community Dining Center serves over 102,250 meals a year.

Free hot lunch served:

Monday-Friday.

11:30 – noon – Early seating for families with children and seniors 65+. Open to all.

Saturday & Sunday

3:00 PM. Open to all.

For the first time, Plowshares is open 7 days a week, thanks to weekend support from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Ukiah United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church, Tzu Chi Foundation, Inland Jewish Community, Quarkers, Welcome Home Sangha, and volunteer groups. With our partnerships, we can finally fulfill a long-held dream of providing meal service 365 days a year!
